What We Do.
Why a Blank Canvas?
The concept of a "blank canvas" holds significance by representing a therapeutic space that is a neutral, non-judgmental environment where clients are free to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of criticism or evaluation.
{Our Mission} Foster a therapeutic relationship where clients can explore, create, and discover their inner resources and strengths on their journey toward healing and personal growth.
Guiding Principles
Openness: Just as a blank canvas offers endless possibilities for artistic expression, our therapeutic sessions are open and receptive to whatever you wish to explore or discuss. There are no preconceived expectations or limitations, allowing you to lead the direction of the session.
Creativity: Like an artist who uses a blank canvas to create something meaningful, clients in therapy have the opportunity to tap into their creativity and imagination to explore solutions, insights, and new perspectives on their challenges and concerns.
Freedom: A blank canvas symbolizes freedom from constraints and limitations. In therapy, clients are encouraged to express themselves authentically, without the need to conform to societal norms or expectations. They are free to be themselves and explore their innermost thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive environment.
Possibility: A blank canvas represents the potential for growth, transformation, and new beginnings. Similarly, the therapeutic process offers clients the opportunity to explore possibilities for change, healing, and personal growth, even in the face of adversity or difficulty.
Non-Judgment: Just as a blank canvas does not judge the artist's work, the therapeutic space is free from judgment or criticism. Therapists strive to create a supportive and accepting environment where clients feel validated, understood, and respected for who they are.
Who I Am.
Hello, I'm Kayleigh, and my journey in social work began with a profound experience in 2016. I discovered my deep-seeded passion for social welfare while working at an outreach program in Thailand, aimed at preventing children from falling victim to the sex trafficking industry. This experience led me to pursue a master's degree in Social Work, a decision that has shaped my life's purpose ever since.
Upon completing my degree, I moved to Colorado to establish my professional career while earning my credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker helping adults and children. Over the years, I've cultivated a profound appreciation for the transformative power of therapy in empowering individuals to lead more fulfilling lives.
My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and collaboration. I find immense joy in witnessing the growth and progress of my clients as they navigate life's challenges and discover newfound resilience. Whether it's grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or navigating significant life transitions, I'm dedicated to providing a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and uncover the tools needed to thrive.
I draw from a diverse range of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring that our work together is both effective and meaningful. It's a privilege to accompany individuals on their journey toward healing, and I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your own.
